It's rare to catch a glimpse of a jaguar at the best of times, but did you know that it's thought that there are only 600 black jaguars left in the wild (https://www.earthtouchnews.com/conservation/endangered/rare-black-jaguars-cross-river-swim-caught-on-camera-in-brazil/)? I can't seem to find a more recent survey of their population so I hope that their numbers may have increased since then.
Introducing Gabriella, sketched by me and named and decorated by my daughter whilst learning about their conservation for International Jaguar Day today.
